If somebody could come up with an entirely new genre altogether--without just blending elements of current genres--that would be true genius.

I created a new genre. It's called mentally retarded. Worse than Katamari Damacy retarded. I'm going to make a Triple X game. Man, that movie sucked......
I hate you, Vin Diesel....

That genre is already heavily populated. Amazingly.

I've played many PC RTS games and many Console RTS games. A Halo RTS for the Xbox? LAME. For the PC? Less LAME, but still LAME. If someone could make a decent RTS these days that wasn't just an expansion or a sequel, they'd be a very rich someone. *ZOMGI'MDOINGTHIS* You wouldn't know a good RTS if it bit you in the ass. I admit it is wierd to make a RTS about Halo. But it should be the best RTS they'll make for the Xbox360. Next time you make a statement try not to have such a bias. Thank you for your patronage, my good chum.

fyi, halo was originally an RTS (also originally designed for macs:o). Bungie tryed many things before halo became the game we love now; they even tryed to make halo a third person shooter. But anyways, I've seen the trailer for the halo RTS over at halowars.com, and I can tell you it looks badass even though it was just a cutscene with no real gameplay. I've played my share of RTS's and I would wait before I start bashing this game because if it's anything like Empire Earth/Age of Empires I know I'll shell out the $60 to the fags at bestbuy for it.
