My brother is for sure when it is coming out. Why is basically every post I read bashing PS3? Is it because it is so highly priced? Just look back at the 3DO.

I hate Sony and Microsoft. They both suck so much, but when I bought my 360 I was aiming for the less shitty of the two products. And the 360's actually a good system, if you discount the backwards compatibility. (In case you didn't know, it's software emulated and doesn't work worth a shit except for Halo 2--and no suprise, Bungee is a subsidiary of Microsoft Games.) Other than the BC, and the Media Center connection capabilites, which also don't work worth a damn, it's a good gaming system. Sony, on the other hand, copies everybody's shit, doesn't come up with their own ideas, makes their copies shittier than the originals, doesn't live up to their promises, and charges you shitloads of money on top of it all.

Mmmm...
Besically, I love my Xbox and its wonderful games more than anything. I know that I'm not supposed to, but I've let my hate for the PS2 and its shitty library of games carry over to the next generation as hate for the PS3.
My 360, though it did explode and I had to get another one, is a good hunk of plastic with a nice library of games now, and more to come in the future. Plus: I just hate Sony for mostly the same reasons as Ryan.

I hold an extreme contempt for Microsoft.
I've got nothing against Nintendo and Sony. They provided me with the best years of my life, and numerous memorable moments. I was literally given a widescreen TV by sony and it's been working perfectly for five years.
But Microsoft is so unhelpful. When my Xbox died, I called customer support. They said it was not uncommon and that I would have a newone in a week, free of charge.
Two weeks later i recieve a call. "You have refused to pay for your new Xbox and now you arn't getting one."
A month later, after I had forgotten the whole thing. "I need you to pay one hundred dollars for your replacement Xbox or we will take you to court for theft."
I was only fourteen, man.
Only. Fourteen.
And they RUINED my life.

Sounds traumatizing... but not as traumatizing as my experience with my PS2...
It all started one day, when I was on my way to rent Kingdom Hearts 2. I am probably the biggest Kingdom Hearts fan EVAR! But anyways... We get to Family Video and I get my copy of KH2. I am very happy at this point.
I get home, dust off my PS2 and pop the disc in. It doesn't work. I take out, clean and repeat. Same thing. This process proceeds for several hours. It didn't work.
Suffice to say I was angry. My PS2 now no longer works for ANY game.
The end.
